State inspections done, no losses and clean bill of health.
« on: March 17, 2015, 11:02:36 pm »
Spent Monday with the state bee inspector going through my hives. Everything looked great, no problems.

After we were in the 3rd out yard and after him checking brood and bottom boards for mites. He finally asks " so, what do you do for mite treatments, cause I am not finding any mites" lol, I made up a couple of things (brood beak and the stuff he recommended from mann lake, i said) I don't think he bought it.

Anyway, no losses, no mites and no hives beetles. Good to go.

OAV Rules. As soon as the state approves it I will tell him....

A job well done. You are a real beekeeper.  OAV is approved now. We aren’t outlaws anymore.
