Great Surprise!
« on: September 02, 2015, 08:16:52 am »
So I go out to my truck this morning, getting ready to load and go for a day of keeping, and what do I find on the seat of my truck?
An envelope and a small package is what I found. I opened it up and I just have to share with the rest of you.
R and L (I obscured your names), from that first day I met you two a couple of years ago, and the fact that you have hung in despite some unfortunate circumstances, I have no doubt about your passion and I am positive that the bees have found a great home!
Thank you for a cool gift that obviously took some doing, I will treasure it!
This is what makes it all worthwhile for me folks, I am going to have a great day today! :)

Thats Awesome right there!

Too often in this day and age, the only time you might hear from someone is if they have a complaint or problem. So when I do NOT hear from folks I consider it a good thing..  Getting thanked like that? Thats what makes all the time and effort spent helping others worth every moment.

Congratulations Perry!  Its a reflection, both of the quality of the mentor, and the quality of the new beekeepers.  :-)

Can't think of a more deserving keep!  It made my day knowing there are still those that take the time to do stuff like that out there!

That is absolutely awesome. Like the others have said, it's all to often that folks don't take the time to express gratitude for good friends and a job well done. You're a lucky guy to have friends like that, Perry. And they are lucky to have a pal like you.

This is the way life should be lived.  Reporting happenings such as this make our Maker and the rest of us feel so good.  Thanks for this post.  There is so much bad news that we need to hear of more of these incidents.
