Hack, cough, yuck
« on: October 07, 2015, 08:07:28 pm »
Well, it's here....the first and hopefully the last cold of the season. I tend to go from head cold right into asthmatic;bronchitis so off to the doc I went.  Whew, lungs are clear!  From what the doc said, the cold season is off and running in Kingston, NY.  I cursed myself by bragging to my cousin that I haven't had a cold in six years. I so dislike being housebound when there is so much to do outdoors.  Still need to finish up two more raised beds, cut back the perennials that have given their "all" for the summer, get some straw bales for a windbreak for the bees,  and on and on. :'( :'(

I know what you mean Les, i just went through a 1/5 of Wild Turkey to get rid of a two week cough. A few swigs of that 100% stuff and you forget you have a cough. :D Jack

Awwwe sorry your not well Les. But I have eaten humble pie before as well, when bragging that I haven't been sick in ages... Bam! Broncitis... keeps us humble I guess..

Jack, if I had a swig of wild turkey I would just throw up! However, in the winter I do like a little canadian spirits in my hot tea with a dollop of honey and lemon. Now, that warms my toes  ;D ;)
