The way the Asian Hornet is moving closer is worrying.
The nests are very big and often high in trees. If disturbed the hornets come out in mass and are very aggressive. Bee suits aren't thick enough and hazard material suits are needed.
It is a double whammy pest. Destroys hives and danger to the public.
In Italy, I think they are still burning SHB apiaries. The Italian keeps were upset about the slowness of compensation for the first round of control.
