We had a similar instance here. The idiot animal control officer pushed an ordinance through aimed at snake owners. They outlawed non-native animals as pets. Then someone informed her she would have to get rid of her horses. She back paddled real quick and got it repealed.

naw it's not only in canada 40 acres, at my city res, bees are classified in the same ordinance as mice, don't even get me started.......

but i did find this rather funny.......
