Chef Unknown
was informed, and for posting a sting pic, especially the face, and still maintaining a smile, he baked this for you!

Were you wearing the leather hat?? For some reason my bees get really upset when I wear my leather hat.. slap on my beat up old baseball cap and they are fine...
Hope the swelling goes down quick and doesnt itch too bad!

Welcome to beekeeping Mark. Dang, that old girl was carrying some serious toxin. Keep some liquid benadryl in your refrigerator and take a dose after being stung. Good luck, and keep your bee suit or veil totally zipped.

I was wearing a veil because they were already upset. She got in somehow.
The swelling didn't last long: a couple days. I am used to benedryl. I take about 2 a day for allergies anyway.
Thanks everyone!

Just remember the golden rule as far as Chef Unknown, if there are no pictures to back it up, he isn't gonna get his kitchen dirty!
