it is isn't?  i want to THANK YOU for saying so and starting this thread.  like rat said we do pride ourselves on no bs flying here.

and there is no such thing as 'dorky questions', well, maybe sometimes........... .........but i have done some really dorky things...........matter of fact a lot of dorky things and never even asked..............

Nugget, I came on this forum about 5 years ago. I had been blindly beekeeping 3 years before that. I really had no idea what I was doing.. and not doing. My poor hive was just a mess! The people on this forum spent A LOT of time with me that first year, and they helped me straighten out my hive. Never once did they make a joke, or condemn my hive, alway patient, and got to my questions within 24 hours, and often sooner. All of them worked together to teach me with kindness and patience. I can't thank all the people on this forum enough

Also to add.... Always location is of utmost importance and this is always considered here. I am on the fringe I guess so I always must apply guidance based on being in the desert and not dealing with seasons on the normal side of normal. Freezing weather and days of wet and cold are rare here so my bees are working most of the year. Also here in the Sonoran Desert it is not harsh abd brutal plant wise and almost always something blooming. Rain is our magic wand and rules the flow....

Strange that the last post on this topic was back in August, but only now shows up as an unread post?    I mean, why would I not chime in on such a subject?   Looking around a bit I see a LOT of unread posts I have never seen before...      :\'(

   Why does my magic button (Show unread posts since last visit.) not show all unread posts since last visit?

I just love to read the positive approach of everyone here.  No one is insulting of anyone.  People on this forum seem to know only nice ways of talking.  No foul language!!!  Even if we occasionally laugh at others, we're laughing at ourselves at the same time.
