Honey-B-Healthy - Spring Feeding
« on: March 30, 2017, 07:56:58 pm »
I have been doing some reading about Honey-B-Healthy and am thinking about adding some when I feed this spring.  Looking for your thoughts and opinions as I have never added anything to my syrup,  but I thought maybe we could give the girls a boost this spring to get them up and running after a miserable winter.  Thanks in advance.

I am a new beek rolling into my second year, but I have used it and learned this, it attracts allot of attention. So if you have more than one hive use on all or there will be a bit more activity then you counted on. Also I had feral bees constantly exploring for "big cracks" to get in for a taste. As far as benefits to my bees I saw no difference with or without and still have a almost full bottle in the bees fridge.
Cheers, Bill

Ditto,  have also read that it causes activity.  I do not use it.  But i'm in a situation where i think in my backyard,  i have a feral robbing situation.  I have no bees and can attract 500 to 1000 bees with swarm box and jar feeder with. 1:1

I would suggest going with Nozevit+ over HBH if you want to give them a boost.
