Two Swarms already this season
« on: April 24, 2017, 02:49:50 pm »
Good afternoon from the Flatlands of western IL, where 'flat as a pool table is a legal land description

One swarm a week ago; one last Wednesday.

Missed out on one Friday, was too far away and referred it to someone else.

One false alarm call two weeks back, bees coming and going in a rotted off corner of some textured exterior plywood on a medical building....12 feet up on a 45 degree slope.......nope, sorry.

Too d*mned old to risk working under those conditions for what might turn out to be  complete bust.

It was too warm to use my Infra-Red thermometer ('point and click heat reader') but I'd bet there was a full stud space, probably 96 x 16 x 3.5 inches full.

But the building's owners are complete horse's rear ends and would insist on it being repaired 'after'.

Nope, no way
