Smart bees 30 feet up in an East facing cave so from late morning on in full shade. These girls are only 1/4 mile from our house and likely the hive visiting our water sources.

Beautiful country out there.
Any chance you can get to them to "rehome" them?

Pretty dangerous as wall is unstable and we usually snap a pick or two and leave, they have been there for many years.... Kind of like family now

That's pretty cool to hear...that hive has been there for years, never treated for mites, never been requeened or split or fed sugar water or any of the many things we do to "help".
