Trap outs can be anywhere
« on: February 17, 2014, 01:47:27 pm »
I have a spot that I fill hives from each season as the buggers have eluded me each year, I close one spot and they find another way in, so I have come to an acceptance as the owner is Ok with them being there - old pvt school that is abandoned.

In spring I add a frame of eggs and close the hole and take a nuc a week later.

In the wall cavity :

Cone in place

Nuc added

Window closed up from inside

And I just know you want to know why I was working inside the building !!! O:-)

Yep 3 stories up

First Nuc pulled off

That's some "Honey Shack" you got there Zulu!
I had to settle for a 12 x 18 footer.
