Large Dog Coats or Sweaters ~ Perry or Rrat
« on: October 13, 2017, 04:04:29 pm »
I'm looking for a coat or sweater for Phoebe in the winter when we take walks or when she stays with the borders. I'm just pretty sure she's going to chew it off tho. Wondering if you guys have any experience with winter wear for large dogs?

Both our greys have them. It is a must for greys as they do not have a second coat.

we dont normally get cold enough here to worry about it.  Theo not much for cold weather.  I have used a large sweat shirt on my other danes.  My daughter does the same thing with her dane

Jen, if you can sew and have a sewing machine, you can get plans online.  I made a super simple coat for the greyhound we had many years ago.  It was reversible fleece with velcro.
