The bellows is leather ,I think it was replaced.  Ya it works.

mikey, that's a neat find. the smoker is an older one, the bellows has been replaced. i do not know the age, i have one very similar without the heat shield.
can't remember how i figured out when it was made..... :-[

might send dadant a pic and ask them?
