Heifer International bees

We have made donations to Heifer International in the past. Usually we donated money for a goat or chickens or some other small animal. A full heifer, at $500, was a bit over our budget.
This year we learned that you can also donate honeybees! Our son and daughter in law donated row hives in our name! We are so proud!

That's great!
We had a scholarship recipient in our bee club, a few years ago, that donated the sale of his honey to Heifer Int. His donation went towards honey bees too. He gave a presentation to our club. What an admirable young man.
