Meanwhile in Canada...

I saw Apis talking about the weather in Canada and I thought I'd pass this piece of information along for some humor...

They missed out on a couple of events.
The Gray Cup, BBQ and tailgate party, 2 days of alcohol used as antifreeze. Only 1 out of the 9 stadiums have a roof. and it is the one in BC, The warmest of any of them, also the wettest.

Poller day swim. Our once a year bath where we don't get our feet dirty when getting out of the water at the lake.
Or go skating on the worlds longest skate rink. The Rideau Canal Skateway because we can't find anything that is indoors and warm to do.

Canadians embrace the cold snowy weather. It's the only way we have to survive and stay sane over the winter.

I'll admit it...I'm too soft to live in the cold nowadays.  We used to x-country ski, camp and hunt elk at -20F, we snowmobiled and hiked in the mountains.  Since they took my thyroid gland out, the cold really gets to me.  That is one reason we moved to Texas.
