I am interested in starting to make soap for this springs farmers market. Any imforation here to help? Search results did not provide much in this arena.

I have taken a soap making class years ago. So, I am not an experienced soap maker. I remember you should wear some protective gear, especially if you are working with lye. It is very important that you add the lye to the water, not vice versa. (Double check me on this safety fact. I am going from memory.)

Last fall I saw a presentation on making goat's milk soap. She incorporated honey into her recipes. The process is similar as other soaps, except you have to add an extra ingredient to keep the goat's milk from going bad.
