Stranger in My Bee Yard!
« on: April 16, 2014, 10:45:38 pm »
I noticed a stranger perched on my arm in the yard today while I had the Prodigious Oak Tree Bees nuc opened up.  Check him out!  What the heck is he?  He sure was an ugly sucker!!  :-\

The woods are full of them a certain time of year here, they know how to bit you where you can't reach them and those babies can hurt >:( We use to catch them off the cows and stick a feather up there butt, if you turn the feather with the curve up they will fly straight up up, turn the curve down they will crash into the ground. :laugh:I know, i know, ;D but boys will be boys. :D Jack
