Stainless steel honey gate
« on: April 20, 2019, 10:21:58 pm »
I recently broke a plastic honey gate, fear not, catastrophy was averted by dumb luck.  The incident got me looking at the stainless steel honey gates, to use in conjunction with a plastic 5 gallon bucket, available from various suppliers.  Has/does anyone use them and if so are they worth the extra cost?  Thanks, Ted

Thanks rober.  It was the thumb screw I broke too.  Dadant, I see, sells replacement metal thumb screws.  I'll probably start with those but purchase a stainless gate too, to see what i think of them.  Thanks for the links.  Ted

I went to a local hardware store and bought the metal thumbscrews.
