I thought it would be interesting to start a thread where we can share Beekeeping related tips and tricks. Do you know a short cut, an easy fix, or time saving method? Maybe you never go any where with out duct tape! I hope you will share with the rest of us.
I will start with a laundry tip. I can't take credit for it, a fellow bee club member shared this at our last meeting. He had gotten propolis on a good, dress shirt. His wife had washed and dried the shirt. You and I know that the propolis didn't come out.
His wife found that out too.
He had heard Marla Spivak suggest rubbing honey on Propolis to remove it. His wife did that, then rewashed the shirt. The propolis came out! Even after it had been in the dryer!
