Does anyone know where the lab that did the testing in the US is located?

Thanks for posting, Neil.  I would like to know how many entries there were.  I would also like to see a breakdown of why an entry failed.  Could it be that the adulterated entries were due to lack of good (sloppy) beekeeping practices or lack of education.  Surely participants were notified that testing would be done.  The story doesn't say if this is the first year they have done laboratory analysis.  Perhaps ABJ will do a follow up story.  Those participating have a lot to gain with a ribbon winning entry.

I know a very well respected beekeeper from Central Kansas.  He has entered his honey at the American Beekeeping Federation conferences numerous times.  He has won a top place ribbon several times.  His honey crop is very small due to location, but he gets top dollar for his honey.  All he has to do is display his ribbons at craft shows, farmers markets, etc.   BTW he always rides with another attendee and carries his entries on his lap the whole trip.

How would anyone know if there was any pesticides in the honey? Or should the question be what % of honey does not have any.
