Stay in place project.
« on: April 08, 2020, 08:51:23 am »
Another hi rise condo to spend time in during rhe fall and early winter.
The high rise floor today.

The front wall, still needs caulked and a vapor barrier applied inside.

this front wall was made from dog eared fence boards. I had bought a bunch to make wind breaks in Out yards and my back yard for the bees.
Here at home I dug holes and put in fence post to anchor it to.
Couldn't do that on property I didn't own so tried to use stakes and braces but strong winds seemed like every two weeks and it would be down. Abandoned the Idea, went to useing straw bales and that worked much better for me.

So the wall is the front and is from the wind break expermint recycled.

these pickets are from the stach I had bought for the idea that didnt work for me.

The east and west walls for my hi rise condo.

The back frame where the door will go. Ran out of 1.5 stock to finish the frame. going to try to visit the site where the barn was torn down to see if I can salvage any more like for the front and sides I cut down.

The scraps form the dog eared boards I am going to see if i can make bird houses with.

This lumber was salvaged from the barn, I am planing on useing it for the back wall and door lumber.
