That is a highly trained animal.  :D

We're deep into zucchini season already.  We had zucchini for supper almost every night last week.

It's that time of year when you hear a knock at the door, answer it, and find nothing but a bag of zucchini!

I plant cherry tomatoes to eat while waiting on slicing tomatoes to ripen.  This year I am overwhelmed with cherry tomatoes.  I have decided to pickle them.  We'll see how it goes.  I can't seem to give enough away to stay ahead of them.

My mom can't seem to get her tomatoes to turn red this year.  We had a mole disturbing the tomato bed, which set the plants back a good bit.  They have recovered now and are starting to produce, but they just aren't red yet.  It's driving us crazy, since we can't wait to eat them!

I made quick refrigerator pickles with my cherry tomatoes and dill.  I am momentarily caught up using the cherry tomatoes.  The slicing tomatoes are green as grass, still.  Cucumbers are fantastic though.  They are over 12 inches long and in the 2# range.

We just got our first jar of refrigerator pickled banana peppers.  They are so good!  We put them on like everything while they last.
