Beekeeping in Northern Climates

This document is filled with lots of great information.  Keep in mind that beekeeping is local!  If you live in a southern state, don't even think about wrapping your hives for winter.  There probably isn't a need to go into winter with 3 deeps either.  This is still great information written by Dr. Marla Spivak, Gary Reuter, and Dr. Katie Lee from the University of Minnesota's Bee Lab.
