extractor question
« on: August 06, 2023, 04:09:19 pm »
brushy mountain was selling these extractors.

they were bought out by mann lake who now sells this extractor that looks very similar except for the color of the legs.
https://www.mannlakeltd.com/extracting-bottling/electric-honey-extractor/
does anyone own one of these extractors?
i found one locally at a good price that i want to buy for my daughter but it has no brand name on it & i'm concerned whether parts are available. i guess i could call mann lake tomorrow & see if they are the same make.

Can't help. Never seen one.

Sorry, I crush and strain.  :-X

Good to hear from you rober!
I can't really help you, but I have a couple of questions.  You think it might be a Brushy Mountain product?  Do you just want a review by an owner?  Or are you worried about getting parts?
The only knowledge I have is that we have a local supplier here than used to deal exclusively with Mann Lake products.  He is slowly moving away from Mann Lake for several reasons.  Every time I see him he bad mouths Mann Lake.  It boils down to the fact that they are not the same company that they used to be.  So, customer service may not be as helpful as you would like.
Good luck!
