This recipe from the National Honey Board was in my inbox so I gave it a try. If you like real dense chocolate flavor you will like this. It was certainly easy.
Chocolate Walnut Fudge
1/2 c. honey
1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk
1/4 tsp. salt
12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
4 oz. bittersweet chocolate, chopped into small pieces (I found bittersweet chocolate chips)
1 c. (4 oz) chopped walnuts, chopped coarsely
Line an 8x8 pan with foil, butter and set aside.
In medium saucepan, combine honey, sweetened condensed milk, and salt; mix well. Bring mixture just to a boil, stirring frequently. Lower heat to a simmer. Add chocolate chips and bittersweet chocolate, stirring constantly, until chocolate melts completely and mixture is smooth. Stir in walnuts.
Pour immediately into pan and smooth top. Let cool, then refrigerate until cold.
I recommend stirring constantly while bringing this to a boil.
