so last nights project was 25lbs of these bad boys processed and put away! Ended up with 15 qart size freezer bags.  Not a shabby day is grocery land at 72 cents per pound and i can control how they are packaged!

"Well," said Pooh, "what I like best-" and then he had to stop and think. Because although Eating Honey was a very good thing to do, there was a moment just before you began to eat it which was better than when you were.

Bacon grease, onions, skillet.  If sprouts are frozen, they need to be thawed and drained.  Brown the onions with the grease, put in brussel sprouts, add a touch of sugar and salt.

Delicious!   8)

Roasted is good, too.  I especially like roasted cauliflower.

One of my favorites, but not the rest of my family.  Same deal as liver and onions.  I have to request it from mom about twice a year.  I love to see things put up, I think I may have some hoarder mentality.  But having something on hand that can feed my family sure does it for me.

Love Brussels sprouts! Doesn't matter how they're cooked or what is poured on 'em.
