Yes the aluminum was imprinted and dipped in wax, and several you could see with you see where the bees chewed away the comb down to metal, and never went back to the area again.

ok all working on setting up a bee yard am still trying to trap  these freebees in my 8 frame. I will be picking up ten frame today. If i set the new hive 20 ft from the one i baiting it shouldn't bother them? It will be 20 ft to the east surrounded by four black locust trees. Trying to get sorted for when my nuc is ready.
