Just to let you folks that expressed an interest in possibly getting a t-shirt with the forum header on it, it has not been forgotten. There are a couple of different avenues being pursued. One of them is actually creating a "store" with a company that produces them. You would then be able to contact them regarding any personal preferences (size, colour, style) and receive them direct.
The other option is one "type" of shirt, with different sizes. This will require an "up front" cost, and then shipping out to members.
We will continue to look into it and hopefully have some answers soon.

UPDATE........

we are close to finalizing forum t-shirts. what we are looking at is a company that will set up a website for us, and all can order from the site, pay by credit card or paypal, and it will be shipped, including canada or international. essentially they take your order, they take payment and they ship it to you.  more details to come later including cost and color option. right now the approximate cost for a white t-shirt is $13.80 and for a darker colored shirt would be aproximately $16.30.  shipping is:
Domestic (United States) shipping $3.85 + $.25 for each additional t-shirt.
Domestic (Canada) $7.50 + $1 for each additional t-shirt.
International shipping is $10.50 + $1 for each additional t-shirt.

WHAT I NEED RIGHT NOW FROM MEMBERS

please send me a pm on how many shirts you would like, and i don't need the size, just the number of shirts you would order.

Tee shirts, interesting. I've used Cafepress to order tee shirts before and it works pretty well. I think that's a good option.

I am working with a company based out of minneapolis, minnesota.  the t-shirt is a gildan 2000 ultra cotton, pre-shrunk 100% cotton t. this is a very nice shirt. we are working very hard to accommodate members who would like a t-shirt in a different color, and trying to make that happen.  as i said earlier, a white t-shirt approximately, is $13.80 and for a darker colored shirt would be aproximately $16.30. the extra cost is for an 'underbase' to make the logo stand out on a darker t.

also, in order to make this happen we need a minimum order of 24 t shirts.  as of this morning i have 16. please send me a pm to let me know how many shirts you would like, and my thanks to the members who have already responded.

we have finalized t-shirts!!!
here are some examples on white and darker shirts for those of you who wanted an alternative to white, we worked hard to get them!
within a week or so, we will have a website set up that members will be able to order from. the company takes your order, payment is credit card or pay pal, and they ship directly to you. we will announce when that takes place but wanted to give members a chance to look at these before hand.  the website will be set up only for a limited time period, for no more than a month, so orders must be placed within that time period. we need a minimum order of 24 shirts to set up the website, and do have that, but would like to give everyone a chance to place an order when the site is set up.
PLEASE SEND ME A PM IF YOU HAVEN'T DONE SO ALREADY TO LET ME KNOW IF YOU WILL BE ORDERING.

COSTS:
white or light colored t-shirt (sm, med, large, XL) ~ $13.80.
darker colored shirt (sm, med, large, XL) ~  $16.30.
XXL in white ~ $17.34.
XXL in darker colored shirt ~ $19.84.
XXXL in white ~ $18.56.
XXXL in darker color ~ $21.06.

So, the image showing the brown shirt is marked as Black? So we can choose from white, charcoal, or black..  right?  :)

jen, the shirt comes in additional colors, these are examples of light and dark.  the shirt colors displayed are white, charcoal (dark gray) and black, not brown.  ;)

If I'm not mistaken, the store has different types of shirts available (polo with buttons, etc.). You would have to go there once the "store" is open and chose what you want and price it accordingly.
