Just learning
« on: December 09, 2013, 12:33:04 pm »
Hello. I am Tammy from Texas!! I don't have any bees. It is against my HOA, for now. But I do enjoy learning all I can in hopes that some day, I too will be able to keep my own.

welcome aboard Tammy. Couldn't have found a better place to learn about bees. You can always do as most of us and find an outyard to keep the bees.

Welcome Tammy! Have you any friends or relatives close by that would let you keep a hive or two on their property?

Indeed!!   But be careful!!   The hives at my dads place get poked about often...   When I tell him I am coming over to inspect hes usually there ahead of me waiting impatiently!!    :)

Hello Tammy and welcome tot he forum!!
See if you can find a local bee club to join, I bet there would be somebody in there that would let you tag along and maybe even let give you a place to place a hive.
Bees are bees and do as they please!

Welcome.
There's been plenty of times I could have used an extra set of hands, or better yet, younger eyes.
Like mentioned above, hunt around for a local keep and you might be surprised.

Welcome Tammy. there are becoming more areas that a hive or 2 can be set up in. Most areas have community gardens and they welcome a hive and beekeeper to look after it.
