Bama, I've got a lady with bees in the ceiling of a "bonus room" over her garage. When I first started keeping bees 3 years ago she mentioned that she had some bees in her house but she wasn't interested in having them removed. I'm all for feral bees so that was cool with me. Well, last fall she told me they left...

I wasn't sure what happened to them and didn't go check it out. She told me the other day that she hadn't gone in that room for several weeks and when her son went in there there were several bees flying and probably a couple of hundred dead on the floor and window sills. Also, there is spots of "orange" beginning to come through the sheetrock ceiling...I'm going to look at them and see about removing them. I really don't care to do a removal over my head being as my left shoulder is shot, but she lost her husband a little over a year ago and goes to our church...a nice lady. Her little grandson stays with her a good bit so I'm going to go ahead and take the bees out.
So, bees are cool to have in a dwelling...sure, until they start infringing upon the owners territory. It seems the lawyers wouldn't want them in their office due to liability.
