I experienced several firsts yesterday. Picked up my first nucs, built my first frames, lit my smoker for the first time, donned my makeshift protective equipment for the first time, installed the two nucs into my hives (sting free!) for the first time, and got stung by one of my bees for the first time. You can read every how-to book ever made, but experience is definitely the best teacher. (And experience taught me yesterday to not mess with the bees right before it gets dark!)
I have the same feeling that I had when I got my first chickens fifteen years ago: I may never be bee-less again.
That and I see Saturdays being tied up for awhile.
