Wax Dipping Equipment - Show us a picture
« on: May 26, 2014, 10:27:59 pm »
I'm interested in a homemade apparatus to wax-dip new woodenware.  Anyone out there have their own device?  Any advice?

This seems like it could be a good Club project.  Any experience with a Club and wax-dipping equipment?

Please link to a picture if you have one.  :)

TIA

There are several good videos on youtube.

I agree would be a good club activity. The biggest expense would be the tank and burner, the paraffin, rosin and propane would be the only consumables.

Yes thanks, I've seen them I think.  This is the design I like best.  I'm interested in materials, the thickness of the materials, the heat chamber size and ventilation characteristics, and the like.  Was hoping someone could illuminate a good tank and heater design for us.  :)
