First of all, I think a great big public THANK YOU!!! is in order for Lazy and Mrs. Lazy! I tend to be a little "off center" when meeting and being around new folks, (maybe I need to get off the farm more often!) but from the time we pulled in they both made us feel welcome and at ease. Also, Mrs. Lazy isn't quite as mean as Lazy makes her out to be. Having said that I'll add that there is a glint in her eyes that definitely says "Don't pxxx me off!". Truly, I found her to be open and easy to talk to. And the burgers? Yea man, worth the trip. By the way, Lazy makes a killer pickle, so don't leave until he breaks'em out! Again, thank you to the both of you!
also, I've thought it over and I think you're right. Josh was a little HARD on his dear old father. :'( "And after all I've done for him", he blubbers.
Now, down to working with the bees. I can't stress this enough, if you are new to this hobby, and want to do well with your bees, find someone who has the experience that you hope to one day gain and spend what time you can in the bee yard with them. You will no doubt learn a great deal of information but, as important and maybe more important, you will see how people who enjoy and CARE for their bees works with them. A good deal of info was shared by Scott yesterday and I thank him for that, but what fascinated me was how gentle and passive he was with them. I feel bad for my bees and I'd apologize if I could! I think the only thing (with the best of intentions!) that we did right was feed them! AND, I'm not positive about that! Again, new keeps, if you're on your own, find someone! Okay, I'll get off the soapbox now. Thanks Scott. Ted
