Insect Swarms Whirl to Create Massive 'Bugnado' Vortexes Across the World

interesting, i have seen swarms of various insects other than the honey bee,  scroll down to the video.

did have to laugh at this comment:  "Bugnadoes may be dangerous to motorcycle riders who forget to keep their mouths shut."

I seem to find the bugnadoes when I've oiled up my skin and stepped outside ~

Bees and insecticides dont mix... so the bugnado is usually located where my garden used to be.

LOL......!
jen, fried green tomatoes one of my favorite flicks.... ;D

we get some nasty mayfly hatches along the st. croix and mississippi river, so thick you roll your windows up, and do feel sorry for the bikers who dare to drive through the 'bugnadoe' going on.

we also get a 'bugnado' event with the asian beetles twice a year, if you think you don't want to wear a veil working bees, you might wear a veil working in your yard/field when the swarms of asian beetles come off. this happens mostly where soybeans are grown, and primarily in the fall.  i have never seen anything like it until moving to the country in wisconsin.  didn't like it when they invaded my jeep......dang things die and smell something WHOOOEEE fierce....

and ps, don't leave them sitting to long in the industrial wet vac either.......... :D
