Scott- "For some reason she got real nice to me, but I think it was just to tell me goodbye?

Scott!.... you're getting delirious with coughing. Last winter when I had the bronc, three docs didn't give me any meds, they believed that the body had to tough this viral bronc out. Otherwise, it comes back bigger and badder. Stay Down! Lots of hot decafinated tea and plenty of lemon and honey everyday, large glasses of warm honey water. Sleep in your recliner, not on your back. Stay away from caffeine, it makes you p__ more, and what you need is to stay hydrated. Like I mentioned in the other post... the 4 men, in their prime that died last winter all had bronc... it wasn't the bronc that killed them... it was dehydration!

Okay, I'm off my mom/nurse mode... but not for long... hang in there buddy  :)

Doc. looked me over and ask what i'd been taking for it, i told him , Wild Turkey and Honey, he grinen and said keep it up, it looks like your on the down hill side of it. :D I had coughed for two weeks with that stuff (it was bad), but my home made med. worked. 8) Jack

If it wasn't for my work shop i probably would be eating my own cooking, or dead :D. My wife tells me if they should find me murdered, that they would never find out who done it ??? That everyone in Fair Grove,Mo. would want to take credit for it. :o  Jack

Just sitting here drinking coffee and eating Little Debbie banana twins and I run across this thread.

You guys are NOT nice to an overweight old man.

The Banna Twins got a D grade on the Calorie counter website.  Too many calories, fat, and carbs.

I hate to see somebody have to do an hour of hard labor for just 5 minutes of pleasure  ;D

And... which one of us were you referring to?

Isnt that the point as you get up there in years?  After 50, its not fat anymore, its called contentment! With each ten years after 50 you pass you get to add another layer of contentment.  ;D

I always said, "I would rather live 50 years happy than 100 years miserable".

I do what I like, and don't worry about the future. 69 and still going, so must not be all wrong.

Now Logic... We all know that Little Debbies are not healthy. However, we are all human, and we all have our weeknesses. I for one NEVER indulge in bad food!!

... Except when I'm in the checkout stand and there are 5 people ahead of me with full carts. And there lies the weekness. I like my Payday candybar or a bag of Dorito's Nacho Cheese tort chips for the ride home.

So Logic  :)  what is your weakness food?

I would have to confess the potato has the tendency to knock me off my pedestal.

That and the occasional beer with those crazy bee keepers  ;D

Logi, I love potato's in the the winter especially, I like to slice them real thin and fry them in deep peanut oil. They fry up quickly and are not oily when coming out of the pan. And peanut oil is good for you.

My weakness is sweets, that's why my grandkids love kissing me so much  :D
