It is a really nice spot.. Went down this morning to see if the bees were in the sunflowers..  Yep, there was a CLOUD of bees coming and going. Will check those hives Friday. Thinking I might have to super a few of them.. OK, hoping is a better word.. Happy?   ;D

The wet supers I put back on are already 2/3 refilled in that yard. I am going to have to pay attention and have more supers on by Friday.   Goldenrod is still green but beginning to bud. I may pull frames to put in the freezer in anticipation of the fall flow. It would be nice to get a surplus in the fall for once.

LOL   no problem..  If they have started to cap frames I will either pull some and put new frames in or just give them another super. Last inspection it looked like several were going to need supers. If the fall flow is good there may be another extraction date before winter rolls in.

How's your harvest been so far Scott? Seem to be between flows here, goldenrod blooming but bees not working it yet.

8 Gallons at this point. I split pretty hard this spring and didnt expect anything, so the 8 gallons was nice! Looks like I will have more supers to pull this fall if they keep filling and capping frames as fast as they are now.  I would guess at this point theres twice that much being processed in the supers. I may be adding more supers this weekend if this insane flow is still on.  Wish I had drawn comb to give them all..   15 hives to 48 and now back to 43, plus the hives I tend for others.   Lots of growing and not much honey, but have big plans for next year.
