  My Dobermans are friendly by comparison to the wife..  SHE.. knows how to shoot.. makes getting bitten seem a trifle... 

   SO!  When is the best time to arrive..    Late Spring, Early Summer?  Going to make plans, and write them on the calendar. That way she has all winter to get it through her head that I am going to OZ to see the Wizard!

The pic was taken at a friends house, not mine. My door is always open and the coffee pot is 24/7. Pick the time you think best to carry a hive back with you. I will need 2 weeks notice to get it inspected and the papers ready to move interstate.

OK.. I'll look at the calendar and have the BOSS decide..   I'm not coming to get free bees I am coming to meet you and go fishin..  I have a new record to beat...

   The rule has always been, you catch it, YOU carry it!!  so here she is.. attempting to carry it into a friends garage to be weighed....




   Shy of 50 lbs by half an ounce...

I'm thinking she lost a bit of blood by not wearing gloves to carry it. Those teeth are worse than blackberry briars.

Nice catch, tho.

PS. The scales were off by an ounce. It weighed 50 plus a half oz.   :yes:   :yes:   :yes:
