Blueblood and Little Blueblood at Our First Farmers Market
« on: August 27, 2014, 08:05:23 pm »
Bella and I decided to sell at the Wednesday Evening Farmers Market.  It is a smaller venue with less than 15 vendors from 4pm to 7pm.  It was only $10 and once you hit $40 that takes care of the Wednesday and Saturday farmers market for the whole season.  Our set up was not elaborate and honey was all we had to sell.  We did pretty good, about $100 and I felt honored that an Amish man bought a jar of chunk honey.  I guess he thought he would give the "English" bee keeper a whirl  :D.  His family was selling mums.  We ended up with flowers and sweet corn through bartering and cunning sweetness tactics from Bella, .   Took a hive so I could educate if the opportunity arose.  It was a good experience.

Pretty lady.....

OH! There's a guy there, too.   :-[

Nice job. I'm betting she enjoyed it, too.

I love Bella's golden smile---it probably was the major reason for your successful day of sales.

Thanks all, I hope to fine tune some the display and such.  We literally decided to go a couple days ago.  Ef, she certainly helped increase sells.  She really worked the flower vendor over  :D.  We have a little change in our pocket, flowers to enjoy and sweet corn to devour...and, it's the good stuff, white and sweet.

Thanks ladies, you make her smile even more.

Iddee, she might have been cute but I snared my share of lady customers....heheheh

I don't dought that Dave  ;) between your charisma and sweet Bella I don't think you even need a display. If it were me, I would change out the truck to a very cool antique truck with gnarly fenders and a big chrome grill, and this sticker on a wrap around back window ~   ;D
