Pretty frames of honey
« on: September 03, 2014, 07:42:58 am »
Pulled all my supers last Friday and have been working on extracting since. Finished up this past Monday and wanted to share a picture of how pretty the capped honey was this year.  I'm sure most of you had similar frames.

Looks great and most of mine looked that way when I extracted them, you will get a lot of honey out of frames like that, good luck on extracting them.

Great pics. I get almost as much of a kick looking in the background where people extract honey, it's too funny where some of us have had to extract.

Yeah, I enjoy that as well Perry. I have a very understanding wife who lets me use our utility room for a honey room during the extracting process. She also expects me to clean up the mess though.

But the house smells so good with the honey in the utility room.
