Congratulations on the prizes, that is one of the nicest displays I've seen.
Sometimes you just find it hard to believe people pay you when you're there, but never forget the hard work you and your bees put in to make it all happen.

Looks great Yankee!
Can I ask what the 1/2 cup mason jars were going for?

These?

7.50.

I stole the idea from Blueblood. With his permission of course. I did sell several of them to folks that wanted to try Comb Honey.

I like that idea of the of the 1/4 pint. It's a cute jar and just enough for a personal gift. The comb inside is a perfect touch.

Something I tried and it seemed to work on the Comb Honey.

I wasn't selling any until I turned the jars upside down. Once I did that they started selling.

The comb would then catch their eye. C:-)

SEE! I Was Thinking That! Smart move Yankee. Then, I had this brilliant idea  C:-)

Ya know how there is the metal lid you put onto the jar first, and then the ring?....

Wouldn't it be super cool if you/we or the company would design a clear plexiglass lid and then put the ring on. I can think of all kinds of things that would look good under a plexiglass lid. Jelly, salsa, nuts, canned fruit like peaches.

Daang, sometimes I just astound myself  :D

Hey Yank, i didn't big league you, being your first time you did great. I don't know what your attendance was at your festival, but we had a 70,000.00+ turnout at ours. I have been doing the Fair Grove festival for many years and have many study local customers + people who know me that come from Springfield,Mo. and several small towns around that like my honey, i did have three other competition vendors selling honey and honey products. I had several people ask if i sold honey from my farm and took a business card from our stand, i told them to call before they come to make sure i wasn't out of honey. So i picked up some new customers. Jack

No, not near 70,000.

What I did feel good about was that everyone wanted a card and said they had no idea some local sold honey. They said they were driving pretty far to get Raw Honey. Said they would just buy from me.

Gonna do another CRAFT FAIR this weekend in my home town.  Figure the more we do the more cards we can hand out.

They have the sign out this week at the location. Very, very busy highway. I asked them if I could go ahead a put out a honey sign by their sign. They said great. So now I have a sign out all week for Saturday.

Thanks,

Looking at the picture it might seem bit crowded though. That super takes up a lot of room. I am gonna go without it this weekend.

I also may try and build a barnwood shelf to get a the second and third row of jars up a bit.

Just playin and havin fun.
