Seen thru sbb of my big hive I divided last week. I have to go see customers and can't open the hive at the moment. What is it?

could be dropped honeycomb?  no patties of any kind put in there.

never mind, no time for photobucket.  Have a good day

One of my old pals says "where's that como se dice  Como se dice translates into "how do you say" or "what do you call it" and my pal uses it as a whatchumacallit.  He said to me recently he was working on his weather station and broke the "como se dice."  Also theres a thingajig.

gave up and hastily opened hive today.  Beeweavers has these yellow sheets for SHB, the bees chew on them and the loose threads catch the beetles, no chemicals.
Bees chewed a circle 3.5 inches in diameter loose and dropped it on the sbb, causing me to wonder what the heck it was

Great thread, btw

Yes, but curious minds fueled it!  Seriously I like the beetle sheets.  At about $8 for 100 that will protect a lot of hives, and except for bees putting them in unexpected places (I think they may be in process of hauling this one out), pretty good. The bees chew the edges and the beetles get hooked in the threads... no chemicals
