and this is what harassing the mayor anonymously but with really solid actual facts can accomplish.

I got quite irritated when I adopted kittens and gave all my cats feline herpes. I've lost an older cat to it already and it will greatly shorten Sylvester's life too.  It was avoidable, funds were appropriated for a new HVAC system at Animal Control to reduce the spread of disease. And our mayor used the money to build showers so employees could bicycle to work.

My twitter account is pretty blind. I daresay if I did anything really bad they could find me,....

But the private funds for the new Animal Control medical building were announced about 10 days after I started tweeting the Mayor and cc'ing Humane Society, ASPCA and others... (I don't donate to the national organizations but man they can make noise)

So it is with great pride that I post this link:

Congrats, Gypsi!  Good work having an impact on your neighborhood.
I must add this as we are nearing a mid-term election.  I am always astonished at the number of people who don't bother to vote, until it's time for a presidential election.  Many folks don't realize that the local and state politicians have a greater impact on our daily lives than the President.
So, good job, Gypsi!

I try to vote in EVERY election ( and even if I don't manage it, if I see a bad problem city council hears about it)
