Newest addition to the family.
« on: November 05, 2014, 02:49:48 pm »
We said goodbye to our dog Rosie, and one of our cats, Chiclet, this year.
We took time off to contemplate our household situation and decided at this point we had room to spare in our lives to welcome some new additions. We were checking the local shelter to pick out a cat, but they are all under quarantine due to ringworm outbreak. As we were leaving a lady brought this in, he had been living under her porch for 3 days and she finally caught him. She had hoped to drop him off but they could not accept him because they were full and the quarantine as well. Guess who came home with us? ;D

Welcome Nacho. He is skinny as a rail, but we took him to the vet this am for his shots, deworming, etc. He is pretty cool, he has extra toes on his front paws!

I love bob-tailed cats, if done correctly. The tail should be cut off approx. i in. behind the ears.   ;D

But can nacho drive.  The daughter has had cats but I just never warmed to the idea of a cat.  Guess its because they are smart enough not to do dumb tricks to get treats ;D  But I can tell ya ole nacho couldnt have found a better place to live out his nine lives than with the Perry family ;)

that might be very true rat! smarter than dogs! but you can teach cats as you would a dog with certain things. for example, you can teach cats to fetch. it is the funniest thing to see.  mine would go after beer bottle caps, small stuffed animals and small dog toys and bring them back..... :D

absolutely!

I got a great addition to the family today, my first great grandchild, I know a bit proud but I think he is the most handsome boy in the nursery. His mother is in the picture also.

Kebee, that is plenty good enough to rate it's own thread. Start another one, but leave that one here. It deserves two.
