Tar Paper for wrapping?
« on: November 15, 2014, 12:21:02 am »
Hubby and I are working out the logistics of how to wrap our 3 hives. He wants to know what grade of tar paper? 15, 20 or 30 weight?

15 lb works fine.. the 30 lb might last a little longer if you intend to re use it, but the 15 lb can often be re used for three to five years, depending on how mean you get when you remove it..  I also like to replace mine when it starts to fade.. I like it nice and black..
