OK, OK, Ok enough with the neat looking work shops.  I had knee replacement surgery in the summer and my barn has gotten sloppy because my sons and part time cowboy don't keep it neat.  My wife had riding me like a rented mule to get it all neat again, and work shops and areas shown on this thread are in effect, "rubbing salt in the wound."

Seriously, I love seeing the nice, well organized work shops on this thread.  I may even have a small barn built for a wood work shop.  I've got to think about how much longer I plan on being here.  :):)

I am going to buy a new tractor in the next couple of weeks.

Here ya go Lazy, make you feel better.

Friday nigh it was cold and raining and all cars, mowers etc were in garage and I didn't want to move them out them back in so I blew up the back
corner of the garage. I just had to cut something.  :D

Yankee- "I just had to cut something.

LOL

Now that's more like it Yankee! Now to top off the carpenter picture, I want to see a bit of blood on your knuckles, and don't fake it with ketchup please... and a large mug of what ever it is you like to drink sitting precariously on the edge of your table saw just ready to tip over onto all that sawdust. And an open bag of Lay's potato chips some where in the pic will top it off nicely :D

That's  saw dust is nothing. You should have seen it after finger jointing 20 deep boxes and cutting the hand holds. No that was some serious saw dust.

Jen,

As far as bloody knuckles, that was the next day as I had to change out the power steering pump on the wifes vehicle. I always bust a knuckle working on a car.

I've been baking artisan bread in my wood fired pizza oven....

My grandson mixed this (no knead) dough and we baked it in a cast iron dutch oven.  A heavy loaf that tastes very, very good!

Ouch! K! I'll forgive this time... only because of all the battle wounds I have gotten from loading the wood stove every year  ;) 8)

Youse guys and your workshops!
As I posted on another topic, this is what I have been working on this winter along with some reading.  These are beeswax scented wax cubes.  I have finished Jaycox's Beekeeping tips and topics.  Now on to Larry Connor's Increase Essentials

LOL   Bird and I managed to get some done today, nothing spectacular but it was WAY better than sitting in the house staring out the window at the snow!
We assembled some frames with wax foundation, I cut about 60 more top bars, and Bird knocked together some reversible inner covers that looked quite excellent.. Actually, there were a couple frames and one inner cover that were not the best looking, but its OK, we decided JOSH would get those!

Here is my winter project!  Cleaning my garage so I can do winter bee stuff!   :o. The Orange and blue stuff on the floor is solid copper with a hard plastic cover. Can see the pile I have already stripped. Have probably $300-$400 worth of free copper to clean so I can have spending money for my bees. The sheet of plywood is covering a 1/2 sheet of Baltic birch plywood $$$ I ordered to make a drill press table. My garage has NEVER looked like this!!  I started a project that lead to another on top of that one, to bringing home scrap copper to, being too darn cold to work in garage to working 7 days a week/ 10 hrs. Days!!  Help!!!!   :'(  I have the day off so I'm getting on this mess.  Might need to tie a rope to myself so rescue workers can pull me out.
