Made My First Honey Fondant Last Night
« on: January 01, 2015, 12:39:43 pm »
This fondant recipe is from Ray, using my own honey instead of glucose. It was easy to make. I made a half batch. I wouldn't say that this is plyable or malleable... more crumbly. Without too much pressure I can break off a bit of the edge and crumble it between my fingers. Is this suitable for the bees to eat easily?

What Ray said, myself i've not made any more fondant since being banned from the wifes kitchen making anymore recipes for my bees. >:(. So i just do the mountain champ method or what ever i can cook on the camp stove in the shop. 8) Jack

That's no excuse Jack, you can hook up a stove in your garage.... but on the other hand who am I to judge how others feed their bees, and I say that in a most heart felt way...  :)
