Jack- "Iddee, i think we should take perry, squirt, and mammy yoakum, on a noodling on the Big Sac river for Flathead and Blue catfish.

     Of which Big Sac are you refering to Jack, I only know of one  :)

The Big Sac river in Mo. that joins the Osage River south of Osceola, Mo. there are some nice Flathead Blue cats, and White cats that weighed over a hundred lbs. that  have come out those rivers. Legal and illegal. 8) The three of you don't know what you've been missing if you haven't stuck your hand under a root wad, a hole in the river bank, or hollow log, and have something grab your hand and shake it to say hello. :D Jack

Hahahahah! I have seen several documentaries on noodling. And Actually, I'm not so intimimated that I might give it a try some day  :)

    Problem is.... I Don't Have A Fry Pan Big Enough For A Hundred Pound Catfish!!!  :o  :D

 :D :D Famous last words jen, , i've taken a few people noodling and had to talk them into sticking there hand in a hole in the bank, not the ones close to the surface (snakes and turtles like them,) the ones you have to dive down too. For the first time noodler, and most usually last :D, if there's a catfish in the den when he sticks his hand in, the first thing i've witness is lots of bubbles coming to the top of the water, the second thing is the person shooting high out of the water and trying his best to run on top of it screaming bad words at me, but i know you, perry, and squirt wouldn't call me bad names :laugh: :laugh: Jack

Living downstream from Oak Ridge, I'd be afraid I'd come up with a hand full of mercury, PCBs, or irradiated muck.
