This the way I glue mine. It's fast and I get a good coverage with little waste.

I hold the frames together and use a brush to spread the glue in the channel on each side then I load the bars into the jig.

BTW, I found the brushes at Harbor Freight. 30 pack for less than 3 dollars.

We also use an acid flux brush to glue ours up too. Pour some glue into a plastic container and brush it on. If you don't have a Harbor Freight close by, Menards has them by the white glue in the paint dept.
Don't go to the plumbing dept. You'll pay a $1.00 for one.

I don't have enough hives to justify a jig right now. I wonder at what point, you say "man, I really need a jig for this"?

When your holding the little nail between your fingers, attempting to nail together the 20th frame, and you hit your finger instead of the nail..   for the 20th time...  It brings tears to your eyes, and the desire to turn the frame into kindling is STRONG

OR

When you get a shipment of frames from Mann Lake and your putting them together one at a time. About the time you finish putting the last one together, the UPS truck is backing up in the driveway more frames. >:(

Here's the French version.

At the very end of the video, they place the communication holes (break off tab's) at the top of the frame. We always placed them on the bottom.
