The Show "Elementary"
« on: May 07, 2015, 07:27:09 am »
I just caught a promo about the CBS show "Elementary". The episode tonight has to do with bees. Apparently, it's a CSI type of crime program. I've never seen it, but I'm going to record this episode and watch this one.

The writers of this show seem to have a thing for bees.  Bees have been a small item on this show in at least two other episodes.  Thanks for reminding me, as I have that episode recorded.  Besides, Lucy Liu tweaks me up a bit.  :)

I have been watching it for a while and like it, They even use Michael Bush's bee book as a prop.

You might want to start the series from the beginning if you can find it.

We record every episode of  Elementary.  This show borrows from the traditional Sherlock holmes character.  I have to make an effort to suspend disbelief, and after that, I enjoy it.  The show's lead (Sherlock Holmes) is a detective who helps NYC's police investigations.  He is a hobby beekeeper in the show.

The fanciful beehive shown on screen from time to time cannot be a real container for bees.  But if it would work to keep bees, I'd like one.  ;-)

It's one of the shows I watch regularly.  He's even told someone off from a website that ignored his many messages on how to help stop the bees from dying.  lol  It's a fun show to watch.  He's a character, indeed.  Lucy plays the "normal" one who balances him out quite well.  I think you'll enjoy the episode.  If not the entire series.

Well!  Who knew?  Apparently, the entire colony collapse issue was one man sabotaging hives!  lol  Wouldn't it be nice if it were that simple?
