So, Gypsi, you have a double celebration---birthday on mothers' day----that's really doing a good job.  Make sure to celebrate  twice, don't let anyone get off the hook as if it's only one event.  8)

A day late, but the wishes are still there. HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Thank you for the birthday greetings.  I was born on Mother's Day and every few years the 2 collide again.  I spent Saturday with one daughter and her family, part of Sunday struggling to get runoff under control in the garden then went to dinner with a 2nd daughter and her family, Monday I got a bit of dirt moved finally, and yesterday after the vet, went to daughter #3's and helped her get her garden in.  My only internet connection when I am busy is email, and private messaging me here will generally get to my phone (not 100%)

My bees are missing me. I had a couple of hours yesterday when I could have maybe opened a hive, I took the dog to the vet.  Couple of hours Monday when I could open a hive, and I moved dirt, because those stalker bees wouldn't have let me after I opened their hive, Sunday it rained all day, Saturday it rained .... yeah, no telling what the bees are up to. Feeders are on their roof's so I can feed without opening hive and I can peek under the feeder and be sure they are still alive.  Not feeding the Beeweaver bees, they had so many stores they were finally almost out in their feed box about 10 days ago, they are foraging heavily, they will be my honey harvest.  The other 4, one is my weakened may not have a queen hive, since they are still there, I guess she quit laying over no flow, the other 3 are swarms, 2 quite small, so I just keep 4 feed jars full and hope they are still alive when I have time to check them.  (I think I need to super the beeweaver ladies though)

Anyway, thank you for the best wishes, need to move more dirt before the rain gets here.

Gypsi
